Earlier this year, Huddlespace had the pleasure of working with Edge Hill Students’ Union to breathe new life into their social and collaboration spaces at the heart of campus. The goal was simple but powerful — to create an environment that felt fresh, flexible, and full of personality, while giving students a space they genuinely want to spend time in.

The new setup strikes a perfect balance between fun and function. Pops of colour, soft seating, and greenery throughout the space make it instantly welcoming and energising. We supplied and installed modern furniture solutions that support everything from relaxed group catch-ups to focused study sessions — with versatile tables, vibrant chairs, and modular pieces that can easily adapt to different uses throughout the day.

Lush plants and natural textures bring warmth and calm to the space, while clever furniture placement creates defined zones for collaboration, conversation, and downtime. It’s a space designed to evolve with the rhythm of student life — bright, flexible, and full of life.

The result is a vibrant, people-first environment that embodies the Students’ Union’s mission to connect, support, and inspire the Edge Hill community. A place where ideas flow, friendships grow, and good design quietly makes it all happen.
